Bolts were too short. All it took was longer bolts and some nuts. But it holds up great 6 months later.

The main reason I’m writing this review is to help anyone trying to figure out which valve to get. Thetford used the same model number (01447) for several versions of their dump valves. I’d been struggling for several months to figure out the exact type that I needed since I still had the original stainless steel backed dump valves that were starting to leak. I eventually took a gamble on the 08706 version and can vouch that they fit the gray and black water tanks on the 1974 31ft International Land Yacht Sovereign. It fit the original piping with no modifications. I did add some silicone between the valve body and piping as a backup (no one likes to clean up these type of leaks). Recently went on a trip and they worked as intended with no leaks.
